For anyone who honestly cares to know, my name is River Montgomery, first born of the Montgomery family. There is quite a bit I could mention here, but I'll keep it to a minimum. There's much I wouldn't tell you even if you did truly wish to know.

I graduated Hogwarts in 1999, from House Slytherin. A year after that, I took a two year trip around the world, only to return home for my mother's last days.

Oh, yes, I should mention that I am now head of my household, seeing as my family is dying off faster than...well, quickly. Aidan, my youngest brother, is dead. My father is dead. My mother is dead. My sister Gwendolyn is as good as dead. It's just me and Simon left.

With Simon still in school, I am usually the only one at home, and I spend my free time as an assistant to Tracey Davis and Gregory Goyle. Those two are the closest friends I have now.

For a bit of random trivia...
I played Chaser on my House Quidditch team for my sixth and seventh years.
My wand is twelve inches long, ebony with dragon heartstring, swishy.
The family home is known as Serenity Vale, after my great-great-grandmother.
Coffee, tea, and beer are miracle drinks.
